triple C for cupcakes' copy cat(er)

GREETINGS from the warm city with the bright sun, Jakarta. as I've promised yesterday, I'm writing about this super duper act plagiarism. just read. and see.

so last month someone sent me a msg via fb saying that she wanted to ordered cupcakes from me but I didnt accept the request because now I'm busy with my internship. So these cupcakes (the pict above) are hers, I dont know whether she ordered it or made it. I usually dont really care about other's job. not until ........ hmm... how come i've seen some of her designs??

*and yeah, i blurred the pict because it has the bday boy's name whom you may know. I blurred it for the sake of my friendship with the .......... you know!* -> okay 0nly the "suspect" knows what the hell does this mean.

HMM. some things do look familiar. oh yes the heart, what makes me so sure that the one who made it copied me? its because its my ORIGINAL idea. yes its MY idea! its genuinely mine.


i remember i made it in a rush for Damana. I even remember I made it for vday! and you copy it like, even the arrangements of the hearts. like ALL. the color, the places, the flowers and the little hearts! gawd.

the letter. ive seen it somewhere. hmm. let me think. background with patterns, letters with borders! it looks kinda familiar.

oh yes, its another cupcakes i made for valerie which was ordered by Jessica Phan. you see it? 1 letter with darker lines and a background with pattern. this one probably she/he stole the idea from others, but there's a big probability she/he stole it from ..... me!

the birds, at first I saw it like nah, she/he didn't copy me. but hey. wait a sec ....... hmm .......the component seems familiar. 2 birds, on a branch, with flowers under it. HMMMM ...........

oh shit. its another copy! he/she just switched the color and sorry, but this one's a total EPIC FAIL. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA *oh gawd im so evil*

this one I'm not really sure about he/she copying or not, but it does look similar ( and remembering that he/she has copied like the rest of the designs, probably this one, he/she copied it too )


letters, with FLOWERS, some are even with EXACT QUANTITIES of flowers. look at the MINE & ME. same 3 flowers with EXACT PLACING. oh. thats just ..... GREAT! probably he/she wanted to make the same gold writings but lustre dust ( the gold coloring ) is not a common thing people use, so yeah, he/she made it in a different way.

You guys might say the similarities are coincidental, but hell, it is coincidental when you only have like 1 or 2 similarities not ALL.

I may have copied some ideas from a BOOK which i've BOUGHT, so yeah, i have the legal right to copy it since i've paid the copyright thing by buying the book.

well it took me 10 hours just to make these 15 cupcakes, and I slept at 3 last night (or morning should I say? haha) but you know, when I heard the birthday girl loves the cake sooooo much that she doesn't want to eat it, all the fatigue's gone! poof! I'm extremely happy! :D
